My name is Devon S. Cook and I’m a Ph.D. student at Purdue University studying Rhetoric and Composition with an emphasis in technical and professional writing. My current research focuses on the development of empirical methodologies for studying writing that are consistent with new materialist concepts of distributed agency and non-human actancy. I have interests in new materialist rhetorics,  design studies, history of rhetoric, and letterpress printing.
